Vaishno Devi

Mata Vaishno Devi is a manifestation of Mother Goddess and is popularly known as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi. The Holy Cave of Mata Vaishno Devi is located at an altitude of 5,200 ft in the Trikuta Hills, which is known as the Bhawan. Tourists have to trek for 12 km from the base camp of Katra to reach the holy cave.

Sanasar Lake

Sanasar is about 17 kilometers away from Patnitop.Because of its picturesque landscapes and dense forests, it is famous for its aero-adventure sports.The main thrill-packed sports include rock climbing, parasailing, paragliding, bungee, skydiving, abseiling, and hot-air balloon.It is also known as “Mini Gulmarg”.

Baba Dhansar Temple

Baba Dhansar Temple is located 15 km away from Katra on way to Salal Dam. A huge spring emerging from the rocks forms a number of small cascading waterfalls before flowing into the holy river that merges with the Chenab River. At Baba Dhansar Temple, devotees find a naturally formed Shivling.

Banganga

Banganga is located just after the police check post and Yatra Parchi Check Post. This river is said to be associated with the miracles and legends of Mata Vaishno Devi. Water remains in the river throughout the year except when there is an acute shortage in rainfall.It is believed that Mata Vaishno Devi on her way to holy cave created this river.

Charan Paduka

Charan Paduka is a sacred destination that is at 3380 feet just 1.5 kms from Banganga. It is believed that the Goddess Durga decided to stay at this place, when she was chased by Bhairavnath. Devotees from various geographical locations of the world visit the Charan Paduka temple to pay homage at the footprints of the Goddess etched on a large piece of rock.

Patnitop

Patnitop or Patni Top is a hilltop tourist location in Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir state of India on National Highway 44 112 km (70 mi) from Jammu on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar. Situated on a plateau in the Shivalik belt of the Himalayas, Patnitop sits at an altitude of 2,024 m (6,640 ft). The river Chenab flows in close proximity to this location.

Shiv Khori

Khori means cave (Guffa) and Shiv Khori thus denotes Shiva's cave. This natural cave is about 200 metres long, one metre wide and two to three metres high and contains a self made lingam, which according to the people is unending. The first entrance of the cave is so wide that 300 devotees can be accommodated at a time.

Sudhmahadev Temple

The Temple of Sudh Mahadev is about 50 kms away from District Headquarter of Udhampur Tourism. A few kilometres further you will find Mantalai Temple at an elevation of 1450 metres from the ground. The surrounding area is peaceful and cries for maintenance.During festivals and fairs people visit this temple to listen to the songs by the sages and saints.

Mansar Lake

Mansar Lake is situated 62 km (39 mi) from Jammu, Mansar is a lake fringed by forest-covered hills, over a mile in length by half-a-mile in width.Besides being a popular excursion destination in Jammu, it is also a holy site, sharing the legend and sanctity of Lake Mansarovar. On the Eastern Bank of the Lake there is a shrine to Sheshnag, a snake with six heads.
